Flattered as we are, more than a little credit for this unique atmosphere must go to the calming influence of the River Ythan, the changing moods of the Forvie estuary, and the joy of sharing it all with eider duck and geese. Whatever the reason, and whatever the season, it seems folk simply can't help but relax here, and for nigh on one hundred years they have been coming to do just that.
