Harrogate is an elegant Victorian spa town, noted for its charming friendly atmosphere, well-preserved architecture and glorious public gardens. The two-hundred acre Stray is an area of green parkland surrounding the town centre, well placed for easily escaping the hurly-burly of shoppers in the main streets. Dig deeper into the designer shops, ethnic restaurants and numerous tea rooms, or treat yourself to a relaxing few hours at the original Victorian Turkish Baths. Amadeus is a home as well as a hotel, so a lot of care and planning has been put into it. We cater for vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets, offering cold buffet style or full, hot, freshly cooked breakfasts. The dining room is warm, comfortable and homely yet reflecting in its décor, the Victorian character of the house.
