A wonderful location on the banks of the River Avon and the classic views of the water meadows and Salisbury Cathedral, make this 13th century hotel a favourite with locals as well as visitors. Public areas are cosy and well furnished, the two bars having log fires. The view has remained the unchanged since the days when Constable painted his famous masterpiece. The Oak Bar is an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing drink. Alternatively if you would like a light lunch or a livelier atmosphere, you can try the Avon Bar with its wide selection of bar meals and drinks.
